Sapphire and the Terrorist Gun Trap
Ah yes, I remember the case well! I'd been dispatched to Sakorvizdstan, hot on the trail of GHOST. They'd been using
terrorist cells to recruit members for their own cause, but we were on to them- I raided the house. Only to run straight
into a whole GHOST sextet. I'm good, but GHOST training isn't too shabby and six against one isn't the sort of fight you
can win. Fortunately, the whole "have to toy with you" complex kicked in, and they had me tied to the bed, a gun pointed right
at my head, cocked and loaded, and a string running from the hair trigger to the doorknob so whoever came to my rescue
would end up killing me. I don't mind admitting, that was a close-run thing! Fortunately, my contact in Saorvizdstan knew
much better than to come in anywhere by the door. I was rarely so relieved as when I saw him clinging on to the ivy outside the
window!
